Burgers remain a mega-trend in the eating-out market. The numbers of vegetarians and flexitarians in Germany are continuing to grow as well – which is why Avita will be presenting a rice-based, vegetarian burger patty with Mediterranean vegetables at this year's Anuga. Premium, vegetarian burgers in the blink of an eye.
Burger indulgence for vegetarians
The patty is the centrepiece of any burger, and its quality is key to ensuring the guest's satisfaction. A tofu or halloumi-based vegetarian burger is quick and easy to make. A true vegetarian patty that tastes juicy and soft, however, needs a bit of experience. With the new Avita Mediterranean burger patty, the eating-out market can bank on the specialist vegetarian expertise of top brand Avita. The foundations of the Avita patty are an aromatic wild rice mixture, grilled red and yellow bell peppers, sundried tomatoes, and finely blended Mediterranean spices. Together, they give the patty its stable structure and hearty flavour. In commercial kitchens, the deep-frozen patties take approx. 14 to 16 minutes to prepare in either the oven (convection oven, top heat or bottom heat) or a combi-steamer with hot air. In the dynamic snack business, the Avita patty can also be pan-fried over a medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes until crispy. The Avita Mediterranean burger patty always comes out well, and is guaranteed to leave your guests floating on a burger high.
The range of potential uses for Avita's deep-frozen burger patties is just as varied as its preparation options. The versatile patties can be combined with all kinds of salads, toppings, and buns to add an individual note to your menu. The Avita Mediterranean burger patty tastes great as a snack and goes well with a number of sides, such as the trendy Schne-frost churros, or is also perfect as a main meal.
